I’ve been meaning to do monthly updates forever! Jack is almost 2 1/2 and William is 8 1/2 months! I can’t believe how fast time has flown.
Lets start with Jack. All I can say is, this age is a hoot! Jack is very verbal, so it’s been so fun to begin to have conversations with him. Recently he told me about something that happened at Mother’s Day Out (he goes twice a week). I realized in that moment that we were having a real conversation. I would ask him questions about what happened and he was answering them. It was so funny to realize that he knew exactly what I was asking, and was able to communicate with me. He’s still very into trucks, but mainly is obsessed with Fire Trucks. This has been going on for about 5 months, since just after he turned 2. He talks about them all day, every day. We have “emergencies” all the time around our house, and recently he’s been saying “Emergency Mommy! There’s no time to lose!” which cracks me up!
William still very much likes to be held. He loves playing on the floor as long as he can see me. If I leave the room, he wants to be right there with me. His personality is really shining through and he tries to make me laugh a lot. He is very much like his brother, but also has his own personality.
My hope is that the boys become the best of friends. They are so similar in so many ways, but I know they both have their own personalities and quirks. I hope they learn to play well together, respect each others differences and know that they can count on each other for anything!
